Position Summary:

We are experiencing high growth and looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, and talented individuals to join our Retail division! Paramount Residential Mortgage Group ("PRMG") is looking for an experienced Trainer within the residential mortgage industry that will be responsible for developing and implementing company-wide mortgage sales and product training on an on-going basis.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • * Deliver engaging live facilitation and training module creation of best practices, process flow, and product information to both new hire and tenured associates including the facilitation of application exercises and performance tests to ensure knowledge/skill delivery
  • Create and develop training course material using instructional design techniques in conjunction with adult learning theory, including writing lesson plans, designing application exercises and performance tests, and other job aids
  • Perform training needs analyses to determine individual or departmental performance gaps
  • Oversee administration of course evaluations, including creation of evaluation instruments
  • Take an active role in coaching and mentoring individuals and teams to raise their level of performance
  • Able to enthusiastically relay company mission statement, values, history, and culture to new hires during facilitation of Orientation
  • Marketing of Training Team products and services to stakeholders
  • Contributes to training process improvements and participates in other projects as needed

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • 5+ years of experience in residential mortgages, specifically in Sales or Processing (or in a general Operations capacity)
  • 4+ years of experience in product training
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated knowledge using instructional design techniques in conjunction with adult learning theory, including writing lesson plans, designing application exercises and performance tests, and other job aids
  • Ability to work independently to meet project requirements with minimal supervision
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in an ever-changing environment
  • Highly intelligent with a strong aptitude to learn new things easily
  • High level of integrity and trust

  • Team-player with selfless attitude
  • Ability to travel between office locations nationwide. Travel can be up to 50%.
